Can't say what marina prices are on Scugog but I can say that boat traffic is WAY DOWN. Even the fishermen are cutting back.

Thanks, you are correct, that would likely fit the 1250 based on a lengthy thread at FB Inline 6. School's still out on how far I want to go with this project. SS motor issues are dominating this build. Not quite where I wanted to be with this one but thanks for your input. At least it's given me so...

Thanks for the posts Steve, good info there. Found a 1969 125 red stripe motor at the right price... thanks Craig! I'll contact Jerry to see if he has a short mid assembly. Like to stay OEM but will cut it if needed. Think it'll be a while before one can cross the border for a quick pick up but next...

Thanks Guys,
Had hoped to do something with stock parts but you're right, cutting down the mid of choice will likely be in the future.
I see Calhoun Marine has done Yamaha 90's Merc 90's but no OMC info. A V4 would be nice on this hull, fairly light and torquey. Guess I'll follow up with them.

Ignore the crap paint, it's a total strip and refurb.
Had one of these 30 years ago that I had to let go cause I need the shop space.

Hi Guys, I picked up a project hull that absolutely requires a short shaft motor. 16" transom, 450lb hull. Given that its an older hull my first thoughts were to go with an inline 6 mercury but short shaft availability in Canada is nil. I could get by with a mid and steering link as other brack...
