Finally got my Triad rigged with a 300xs. Took it out for the first test drive yesterday. Hit 101 first pass with a 15 x 32 cleaver on the rev limiter around 6000 rpm. :D
Will have to get a hold of a 15 x 34 cleaver to try. Also tried a 32 Bravo 1 - ran 95 @ 5300. Didn't seem to want to spin any higher rpm's ?

Nice...100 is the new 80 it seems lol. I had the same issues trying to spin thru-hub props (albeit with my small motor)...I could spin my 28 cleaver to 6800 but a 27m Yamaha would turn like 5500 and be a total turd.

Keep the 32 and raise the limiter :)...

You know I love that thing Doug!!!! I'm under the understanding that you have to jack that big sporty to the moon. I really think that boat has 110 in it.

I love that thing too Doug !!! You may have too jack it to the moon to get a little more rpm. The 32 should spin a little more than 6000. As far as running 110mph with a stock 300xs is possible but you are going to have to get a special wheel to get there. By the way welcome to the 100+mph club :D

Ken, I can't get any more rpm. As soon as i hit the limiter the engine shuts down like you turned off the key - maybe it was 6100 or 6200 just going by the tach. Definately need a 34 pitch....better keep your garage locked -lol
