First Barefoot run this week. As expected the hole shot was excellent. The table was a little more turbulent than the Charger but reasonable. The curl was soft and little wider. Also very reasonable. I was using a 100' low stretch barefoot rope and handle Being the first run - both Pam and I were feeling the drivability at 43 mph with no trim and the characteristics behind the boat. On both fronts we were pleased. More runs to come..... |

It's certainly louder than the Yamaha, but when I'm out behind the boat, I'm pretty focused on the skiing, so I'm not really bothered by it. I've got the plugs for the Bob's Snout, so I can always pop them in - if I'm looking for a quieter experience. So far - I'm enjoying the sound. Not sure about the neighbours? But everyone that's seen the boat has commented on how good it sounds. |
