So here we go, Here are some pictures of my newly acquired 21' Eagle by Seebold O/B W/ 300hp Johnson Limited Edition "Second Effort" V8. The Boat is an 86' & the motor is an 88'. I will be slowly redoing this rare bird over the next year with photos to come, but for now i'll show you what i have to start with.

Also if anyone checking this out has any information on the Seebold boats or the Second Effort V8 it would be greatly appreciated as neither company is around anymore and it makes researching things online a tiny bit harder.

Welcome aboard! That really is a rare bird...I've never seen one before. The v8 really adds to that. Cool combo for sure.

Thanks! A couple of years ago i had been searching for interesting projects on kijiji & i came across one of these for sale in barrie, it was the same color scheme as the one i have now but it was an 18ft version rigged with a 200hp mariner magnum II & had been used for waterskiing and barefooting. I had tried to purchase it but when i gave the guy a call he was already helping another guy load it up that beat me to the punch. So when a friend of my father's said that he had a 21ft Eagle by Seebold rigged with a 300hp Johnson V8 that he was looking to get rid of, i didn't even hesitate! Other than the 18ft that i found on kijiji this seems to be one of the only ones that i can find up here in the north. if anyone has one of these or knows of anyone with one id love to see some more pics, possible a different color scheme?? not too sure if they came in different colors as i can't even find a brochure for Seebold's.

Welcome aboard

Sweet boat looks killer with the big V8

Another good source of info other then doug is matt ( omcforme on the board) he's building a V8 currently and has a weath of knowledge on the the omcs.

I've seen the 18 footer on our lake, one of the locals has it for skiing.

Nice Boat!, First one I've seen with that power  should really go with that big omc on the back.Another good source for second effort information would be Racer( Al Stoker) on scream and fly( screamandfly.com) or Monty Racing.
