I sold it to a guy named Kyle out there about 4 years ago. I bought it from a guy named Lenny in Minnesota and I owned it for 2 or 3 summers.
The boat was really rough when I got it. I bought the new buckets and rear seat from John Spaith and had his gal do all the new upholstery. Ordered a race fairing from Mike Nass. Made a new gauge bezel and put new gauges it. New wiring harness. In Control Shifter, foot throttle and footrest. I know Kyle converted it to a center steer OMC so I have no idea whats left of it.
The red is nasty to maintain and Summerford gelcoat was not the best. I have no idea why part of the bottom has black on it. No signs of any damage. Transom was cut down when I got it and wide open at the back. I made a cover that velco'd on as I don't know of any good glass guys in Winnipeg. I thought of painting to whole thing to make it perfect but decided to try a Grandsport instead. Wasn't doing any racing any more and wanted more room and something heavier.

Ive seen this one a number of times when Kyle had it. It's VERY light. I could pick the front end up of the trailer with one hand and raise it in the air like a 12 pack of beer. LOL

I hope you kept the skulls? That was a neat touch. Kyle never really got it to run with the OMC project from hell.

Hope you can get it out running.

yeah this STV will be out running as soon as possible.. the dash is a bit of a night mare... Center steer to side steer to center steer back to side steer now.. lol but we'll have that whipped into a solid blank dash in no time... and by no time i mean by Thursday.

I'm surprised that there was 2 comments about how light this thing is.... feels heavy to me. in comparison to Dave Rays STV. im putting it on a scale ... time to find out what im dealing with. no more guessing.

Actually I remember this boat now, this was Bucketboy's boat. I seem to recall the big OMC he was planning for it. As usual, small world.
