Nice work on the boat and killer 70hp shortie, the motor looks sweet! What year is that hood from? |

Thanks, motor is a JohnMaha, just sat it on to see what it looked like. I will need to build or find a bracket to get it lower, transom may need some modification/ be cut down. Decals are 97'-98 I think. |

Yep, pretty bad timing! That is a good boat. The guy I sold it to promised to sell it back to me but never made good on it. I sold him the hull and trailer, complete interior, brand new bucket seat, steering for $2,200... oh to be young again! |

The boat did race at Gravenhurst after you sold it. It ran well compared to other similar VooDoos with long shaft, big gear case motors. It would be interesting to compare performance by just switching to the gear case to the nitro case. |

McVDoo was running very nice, trimmed right; guessing you were getting 64-5mph out of it? I'll bring Voodoo out next time, have same engine cowl. Drop into Long Lake next time for a boot. Cheers |

Nice to see the boat back with its original owner. The long shaft nitro drive shaft was at Top Gun a few years ago. Maybe Paul still has it. |
