I remember Swamp Thing from the Hobby Show...YEARS ago. I really wanted to race hydroplanes when I was a kid...

Yeah, we enjoyed doing all the shows we could.

We always had fun with boat names, we'd spend all winter joking/laughing up funny names as we built the boats, one would catch on and stick. We had a nice sign painter guy who hand painted several of our boats... but that art has vanished basically now.

Swamp Thing
Green Slime
Gang-Green
Toxic Waste
HeadHunter

Yeah, that's a good one too. The "toxic" creature on the other side was fun dreaming up too... part chicken, fish, person, frog, forget what else.. .haha

It will be at Waterford, if it gets on the water my father will be behind the wheel with his new motor/prop. He's not sure he can handle two classes at this point.
