ok so i built a new surface drive style that i put into a 15 foot price craft runabout ;) cause i didnt now how well the drive was goona work. i am using rx7 13b rotary engine! with a mercury piranha prop. so any way i took it out for test and it shoot a roost like ive nevver seen! :) and rides soo smooth it makes my 15 runabout feel like 20 footer i can cruize at 65 mph but ime only about half throttle at just under 6000 rpm . but when i try and go over 6000 in 3 gear my prop blows up, even when its not in the water! so PLZ help any advice on good props that can go too around 8500-10,000 rpm rang that is what iam capibal of doing :D

That sounds VERY cool. You're gonna halfta post some pictures! I would think you'd be looking at some sort of large diameter cleaver....they usually have good grip and seem to be the choice for other surface drives.
