You can buy the stock yammi pumps new on ebay for $43each, thats where I got mine. I was told the early pumps did not have all stainless internals and were'nt always the best with our new gas. You may also want to check the fuel lines between the pumps and carbs, mine were starting to break down. I replaced them with mercury line( sorry Rick!) from Quinns as they are the closest dealer to Beaverton. All the new OMC , Merc , and Yammi 3/8" line will work as they are alcohol friendly.

Ran all new fuel lines (old ones were sucking air), new fuel filter and 2 new fuel pumps (one of the old ones had a crack). Hope to splash it this weekend, if it doesn't snow!!

Just noticed this thread

Just as Dubber Said - I had some idling issues and did complete carb clean when I installed the Carson reeds. Made a world of difference. Ran like a champ after,

Used the Yamaha Penetrating Fluid.

Just did the same on our push lawn mower.

That stuff is magic.

Good luck

Show some pics of your Mastercraft. I'm assuming it's a barefoot 200?? My favourite Mastercraft Vessel.

Carbs were spotless when I opened em up and nothing was even close to being seized or gummed up.
Yes Tom, it's a Barefoot 200.
If anybody needs a carb kit for a 90-92 150/175/200 2.6 I've got one. The kit I've got is for what appears to be 6 Siamesed singles (ie, 6 floats, 6 needle & seat sets etc) I've got 3- 2 barrel carbs on mine. Guess I shood find out exactly what year I've got befor I start buyin parts...doh!!

Too bad about the parts - OY

Mine were spotless as well. But the was junk in the very small passages (hard to see - if at all)
Not saying that's the problem - just saying - it might be

There were two different makes of carbs on these.Niikki( with a double float bowl) and Teikei( with a large single float bowl.
