Dunno...160. There is a 140hp so with porting and compression there might be 20 in there. I know there have been some real mean ones built for drag racing down south..

I think this will be just over the 140 when it's done...but who knows...might fire a rod through the block on the test drive lol.

Cool build Rick. Can't wait to see this Charger run. I'd also be interested to see how it works as a ski boat.

Coulter has been using his for the same thing...I'm just copying lol.

are you putting excel carbs on it now?

They come stock with 34mm carbs (same as the excel).

I was wrong...all the V4's come with 32's. I'll have to see if I've got a big set left lol.

Yeah man 36 mm Kottman's! Then you can just drive from your dock to the gas station and back while towing a tube :)

This looks like a fun build and glad to see the BBQ got another workout on a MRS motor build ;)

I'm still waiting on head gaskets but otherwise it's ready to set on the mid once the snow melts around the boat.

Nope..what you are looking at is an early back half of an airbox. They are aluminum and have a nice radius into the carb mouth. It also holds the choke solinoid.

I'm going to try it with the cover on and off to see if it's any different. I actually prefer some sort of airbox when possible.
