New waterpump, no thermostats, new poppet valve, 15 lbs pressure. Still overheating. What's up with this p.o.s. Anything I should know about what causes this. Appreciate any help, our first six cyl.

How is the flow coming out the tell tail? Solid like it should be? Maybe there is a blockage in the cooling jacket...

mixed oil and steady stream. was told fresh powerhead from Chris Carson, looks clean, runs strong. Stays cool at idle, stream gets steamy and engine loses power after being on plane for a few minutes with stock gearcase. The opposite happens using gearcase with low water pickup, overheats while idling and stays cool when on plane.

thanks for the tips. found issue, was not overheating, just not used to scalding hot pee tube water. block never went over 135 degrees. ran great all weekend. has fuel starvation at full throttle, had to keep pumping the bulb to keep the power on. New fuel pump in the works.
