Can anyone suggest where I can get a skeg welded back on to a lower. I have the bit of skeg that has broke off.

Anywhere along the Kitchener/Guelph to Barrie, Six Mile Lake/Honey Harbour area..

thanks,
M

Try:
- Calvin King at King's Welding & Prop on HH road; he may not do much welding, only service
- Viking Marine off 400 East side n of Waubaushene bridge
- Gerry's Marina, HH: http://www.stahncraft.com/; I had a split 65Merc case done there
- City Wide Welding, Miss; they do many props/lower units

Yeah,...I've had a lot of welding done:)

My turn, anyone know a good orthopedic surgeon?....

Exact Welding in Pickering.

If you go anywhere else and they don't tell you to empty the case so they can preheat the material then they are hacks !!! Period

thanks E,
I dropped it of at CityWide. Turn around there was reasonable after chatting with him.

Wish I could help but I'm not as connected to real doctors as you are to prop doctors..

Off thread topic:

Being an aged weekend warrior, when a couple of yappy 30yo guys(3) at office invited/challenged me to join their Friday evening squash round robin, I accepted. Hadn't played in 15yrs, used to play 2-3x/wk.
Went out 2 wks ago, bit rusty but game was coming back, drop shot & lobs, owning the T.

This past Friday, was kicking ass, took everyone, the fittest mouthiest lad was sweating like a fat kid at a bell ringer pie eating contest.
Last game of night, ahead 8-4, lunged at a drop shot, went down,....Rupture Achilles. FAAAAK ME!
As i'm down holding my calf, ignorant shit asked if i'm sure it's Achilles, told him 'No F-head, I have a dislocated appendix!'.
Who TF hires these little shits?

Got home, wife royally PISSED, off to S/brook ER, working pedals w left foot, driving like a China-man from Hong Kong on 401.
Went to fracture clinic yesterday, wife came along; if surgery required, she had cash in hand to have my balls cut off by the orderly.

Long story short, surgery not required, wear aircast 6wks, physio 6 wks, blah, blah,...6-8mo recovery.
Balls intact, humbling experience, feel like prunes.

Apologies for hijack.

You have my simpathies E.
Just a tip for next time.......
If a mouthy little phuquetard challenges the big dog, get him on the court and pummel the douche with your racket when he's not looking.
Not as sporting.....but very satisfieing.

That blows Hydroid....get better. I am adding a dislocated appendix into my repitore when a doctor obvious mis-diagnosis is presented to me. You had me giggling again.
