you must get very different Yamaha engines than we do in the uk.

you guys in Canada and the states must be getting different engines to the crap sent over here.
with us not having a decent boat industry anymore we probably get shit stuff that would not sell over there.

a Yamaha outboard over here will be sitting around a long time if your trying to sell one.
I dont know anyone here who likes them, they are slower than omc and mercury and corrode fast, almost as bad as the Suzuki
disprins of the 1980's.
the only reason they sold the 70hp and 90hp 2 strokes over here was because OMC went pop and we then got the slow tecs from brp.

maybe if Yamaha sent us some decent built engines we would like them.

FYI the Evinrude 2+4 is not meant as a carbon remover. It's a gasoline stabilizer and water "absorber" - and good at both.

thanks for that OMCFORME.
Ive never used the evinrude stuff as only got the powertune locally.
But I will now give Seafoam a try and if any left over from decarb will chuck it in the tank.
I only use a 30 litre tank so the juice dont often get a chance to go off, so stabiliser is not so important.
I do use a inline water separator filter just to be safe (ish).
