Wondering what style clamp and tilt/trim system was used on these motors?
And if anyone has tried one on a 3 cylinder shorty instead of the pro50 clamp.
It is a much lighter option and omc if it works
Lemme know guys

I never tried it but it looked like a doable option. The motor was worth too much to me to hack up though.

Yes it works for either the older 2 or 3 cylinder 15" mids this is a cut down long shaft swivel from the same era.

What other mods need to be done to the swivel other than getting bushings made to fit the stinger style swivel pin?
It already looks close

Trim/fit the swivel...bushings top and bottom...may have to relocate where the bottom of trim pump attaches to the brackets in order that there is enough clearance for the saddle that attaches the bottom of the mid has clearance when the trim is always down.

That's about it.
