On a 90s evinrude you pull the shifter arm in the motor in forward and the shifter rod to the bottom end comes up. On a 80s motor the rod to the bottom end is pushed down. Did they change something in the bottom end. Reason I am asking I am putting an older block on the mid section and noticed that the shifter rod went the opposite way. |
