Hydro-Tec and Simon must not be speaking. I remember reading that Simon cracked ALL of the Yamaha boxes (including the Waverunner and Sled boxes) but I assumed the not HPDI box because of all the talk of it from HT customers.

Well...since Simon has done it than it must be easy :roll: ...go ahead...buy the ebay box :mrgreen:

yeah i have spent hours reading about people talking about the limiter on the HPDI's.. according to HT who knows if this is right but the HPDI's are on a power curve that shows "if " they were to get past the limiter at 6500- 7000 rpm they would make big power. i wouldnt buy the box.... i'd get Simon to do it.

That's only if its ported....which your motor isn't. Keep that in mind...

Depends on the model...they all got new oil pumps and some got stronger internals....as I know there was no performance difference between the two.

Edit...I think the 300 got something to make it more like a 300. I remember them raising the recommended RPM to a max of 6k over 5500 or 5800. The Series 1's turned that fine anyways so I don't know if they actually made a change or just changed the literature...
