Pdr1966: I thought I was the one looking for a Challenger type boat and started this thread.

Northbase: I send a couple PMs. My email is steve.heuninck@comcast.net if you would like to send me pictures and your number to discuss details.

Thanks.

Steve did you see the one in a Mi?

I'm only interested in Challengers, you seem to have some flexibility.
There are some good rebuilt scorpions around here, which again is another copy of the challenger.

Petrr, I could not find the one in michigan. Please post the link and we will go look at it. We are flexible, project, rebuilt, with motor, without, anything. We need a big water boat for lake huron, maybe SOB class 7 too, but cannot find anything. the ones in long island on craigslist are long gone, no new posts except the rally sport in florida does not look bad. That Checkmate, although only has blackmax, the paint job is not to bad and it is fully restored. John wants it, but I think not as good in the big water as a challenger type. A Scorpion may work. For power refer to go with a newer Merc 2.5 EFI + if one comes up with a motor.

Steve I bumped it to the top of the list on scream and fly
1997 21 super boat. Title, not 1995 sorry

Noticed a merc 2.5 locally here this week on kijiji, but no idea of true condition.

Would you consider low hrs (like less than 25hrs) 1991 Yamaha 225 carb, oil injection, 20" shaft with nose cone and low water pickup?

a nice one. now I remember it, but we still need to sell our ThunderCat with the stock 56 motor (sst60 sold) to have enough money for it.
