Long time no see everyone. Been following the forum most days, just don't post much!
I am getting a pair of these stands built for me from a machinist friend of mine who doesn't have to much work this winter and wanted to know is there is any interest in other people wanting a pair of these.
These stands are about the same as the ones I used at Pride Marina when I was a tech there, they work awesome.
The stands I can price together for probably around 800 dollars for a match set and each stand can support 4400 Lbs.
painted back with all hardware on casters.
I will have a better price once my set is finished, likely be about 60-120 dollars less.
price breakdown: casters= $230 bucks, Steel= $200, hardware and wood =$20, Time is 4-6 hours @ $60 per hour for his shop. so roughly 800 bucks i'm guessing.

Specs of the stands:
Black paint,
Steel 4 inch casters
3 "OD .188 wall Steel
Adjustable from a bunk height of 14 inches to 30inches
Support up to a 8000lbs of boat. ( about 28 foot single engine )
Bunks are high enough for a deep-V to completely lower a Bravo 3 drive. or low enough that you can slide on a Alpha drive with ease.

Really cool.

Can I suggest you use Urethane coated wheels.
They roll over the "floor debris" rather than locking up like the steel ones.
Minimal extra cost.
Good luck with the sales!!!

hey guys, I picked up the stands today got a new projects starting soon I hope.
I found casters for $15 a piece that will support 1500 lbs per stand, so 3000 Lbs total, which should be good for most outboard boats.
casters= $120 bucks, Steel= $200, hardware and wood =$40, Time is 3.5 hours hours @ $60 per hour.
total for the pair is $570.00
( no wood/carpet on these yet)
