Here is a good old thread about this very topic avoiding the dreaded Ethanol listing stations that supposedly sell Ethanol free gas....

Ultramar 91 for me. Ethanol is a no-no in fiberglass tanks!

I ran Shell Premium in that engine for the whole time I had it Mike. Even though it has a knock sensor. I did run marina gas once, and it was OK, but it supposedly runs better on the premium. Ask Doc - he's the one that told me.

If you've got road access at your cottage look into getting a 300 gallon skid tank.
You have control over your fuel, better price and no worries about running out.

I don't drive my boat enough to warrant a 300 gallon skid tank LOL! There is a 91 no ethanol station in Port Severn (5 minute drive from cottage) that I'll be going to so I should be good. I'm gonna have two 12 gallon tanks plus some gerry cans, so that should keep me going easily for when I go boating.

FYI - there is no limiter, and Chris Carson reeds in that thing. Everything else is stock. Pushed my DL to 80.

Great idea going to give them a call.

I didn't think there was a limiter on my motor, as it spun above 6000 at some moments with my cleaver on there... Gonna get out there August 6th to do some test runs before I bring it out to West Lake, gotta make sure the boat is running properly lol. I think my gas line is bad, not giving me the full power that I need. Been so unlucky with this boat hah

Guys keep in mind that Esso Premium 91 is also non-ethanol. The fuel at Canadian Tire and Loblaws/Superstore is the same (Esso-supplied).
But the 93 octane Super-Unleaded sold in some locations in the GTA does contain ethanol.
