There's a set of Delta molds for sale in Kijiji Ottawa, $2000
It would be nice to keep them in Ontario

In the last few years there has been 4 or 5 people interested in getting a new Delta. First step is to see if these molds are usable. The people that want these hulls do not want to spend a lot of money. Maybe 3 or 4 people could make a group purchase and build a few boats. With the modern materials those boats will be far better than original boats. And a better option than restoring an old boat.

I think these may have belonged to Paul Orchard at one point. Hard to tell from the pics but they look pretty similar.

Hope they were Marty's and not Pauls. Pauls were shot.

I spoke with the owner, I don't think these molds came from Paul or Marty. He said his dad and a buddy bought a delta in the late 60's, cut it in half and built these molds. He said about forty parts have been pulled from each mold and that they have been in storage for about 3 decades since. He doesn't have a cell phone or computer. He does have a few boats that were pulled from this mold though, unfortunately none for sale.

By the pictures these are well thought out boats. Small ribs in the hull, they look straight and even a block on the floor to mount the control box.
