Hey guys, a buddy of ours got a 24 skater with twin 300 pro max's not too long ago. He has had almost no luck finding a company that will insure the boat. Hes gone to multiple brokers with no success other then one company that said $3500 a year which is ridiculous. Does anyone know of any good marine insurance companies that would insure it?

$3500 is about correct!! There are only 2 insures that will write it. it is all based off experience/speed and value of the boat.

Lol, that's nothing......
I was a fly on the wall during a conversation between a couple of guys running 1350's & 1650's.....
How'd ya like to pay north of 28k a year for coverage??
I realize it's all relative but.......holy crap!

Holy crap lol! Now thats some serious coin for insurance. Those boats must be rocket ships with a pair of motors that big, i take it that they are in ontario?

Himagain has the best understanding of high performance boat insurance (as well as everything else) and did an awesome job getting me set up. He also knows something about insuring a 24 skater with twins ;-)
