I had no jack plate with my non race VooDoo. The top of the bullet was even with the bottom of the pad. No planing problems with round ear props (3).

That makes sense, depending on the prop details..

Mine is a bit higher but setback 3 or 4 in.

For a Delta, the 4 in setback worked well for me. And that is with a lot of weight towards the back (soaked transom, heavy Yamaha mid)..

I can only imagine with a lighter transom and a sharper straighter bottom, it'll be more good. ;)

I really didn't like the handling of my Delta, Stinger SS with the 4" set back.
I scared myself a few times before I took it off.

Run a Hevi Kev setback on our sst60 with power trim. Built a bracket for dual cable teleflex steering which I customized a bit with a different helm. It drives like its on rails but as most know the trim button is NOT a go fast button with decent power. Almost blew it over twice in the first week with the sst60. With some seat time it has been a non issue. Boat runs low 70's

Low 70’s, maybe I did have the slowest VooDoo. 57 on the rev limiter. It was a lot of fun.

The most fun I had was cruising the Trent with my wife, forever on 5 gallons
