There’s a few people here in Ontario working on 90 hp Yamaha T Boats. Some have stock powerheads, some are mod powerheads that can produce 110 to 130 hp at the crank. The midsection can be a stock long shaft cut and welded shorter or the midsection can be a short shaft off a two cylinder 48, 55, 60 model Yamaha or mariner/Yamaha. Some use the same gearcase of these two cylinder models while others run the larger stock gearcase with a nose cone and low water pickups. That looks like a fun ride! Very interested in seeing more mod 90’s up here in Canada with the plan to use these motors on T-Boats. They get the same kind of mods as the 56ci OMC blocks we just need to play with these blocks to make some fun reliable motors!! |
