If you've never run a plate... TRY ONE. It's by far the cheapest accelleration gain available.
Mitchie's polly plate was head and shoulders better out of the hole then my stainless one. My bonehead attempt to tint it just made it a little short lived.

Great looking.
Only thing I can say is try not to make any bent areas or flaps without any solid connections and when it comes to the sides the jagged edges look good but will make going though the water harder than if it don't have them.

You realize of course that your plate has outlasted at least 2 gearcases...I'm sure you can stop worrying now...

As soon as it's done Jeff... I will post the weight. I have to make a call here as the plug will be done this week.

The call is made... Hopefully I will have a full mold in a couple of weeks.
