Looks amazing Mike. The engine height and fairing look perfect!.
Bet you'll have a lot of lift in the ass end with that lip and a sporty
You're nuts

The sporty is just a temporary loaner until I get my other gearcase shipped up. That one won't have as much lift built in. But I don't think it could have worked out any better with the heights and how everything has lined up. Kind of lucky actually. You can plan as much as you want but there's things you can never measure exactly.

If I didn't have one myself I would not have had a clue what a GR was either, they are a very smooth machine for both grass and snow and it's crazy how little fuel it burns.

Got a projected date to make some noise with that A boat?

Just waiting on some pulleys now to finish up the steering. With any luck hoping to get some break in hours on the long weekend. That can't come soon enough though

Well well well...she floats hahaha

The long (and I mean long) project has officially come to an end. A lot of help was given in on it and it was all appreciated. But the boat was dropped in the water and the break in has started. This thing is light, and it is quick. I'm so happy how it all turned out and the motor is loosening up with every minute I put on the motor tonight. There's no speed numbers yet because I didn't run over 3000 rpm tonight but there is tons of power coming out of this. Can't wait to see where it'll go from here. Here's a picture from the first run.

My dad shot some video too of the first take off in the boat as well. I ran it on the trailer for quite a bit before I headed out but it gives you an idea. The boat came on plane at 1800 rpm lol.
