Been around both Bill Gohr's and John Tiger's small Allison R's and they're a great little boat that can be fast . Any V6 2.0 or better will be a great fun ride for sure.
If you do decide to drag race it , that would also be a great little boat when dialed in that would be very competitive in LakeRacer.
If all the LakeRacer entries would consent to you being in that class . I think it would be a great fit. Yes it has a 12" on it but the low power would be fine for LakeRacer ( unless you clean up in which case you'll be cast away to Outlaw haha )

Keep the pictures coming and if there's anything I can help with like anyone I'm sure ....

So heres a progress update. Finished off cleaning out all the old crap from the boat. The core is now cut, bonded, shaped, and all small voids are filled with proper rounded edges so as to not have full 90* bends. The glass is going to be laid in tonight and transom is going in next week.

And here's a blown up pic of the motor before I took the boat apart. I don't have the powerhead yet but it shows what it'll look like together.
