was kinda like peeling a banana. or maybe a potato..?

several benefits:
- Weight savings, and lowers the centre of gravity. You T750 guys better be on your game..
- forces me to actually maybe patch/fair and paint it.
- it is Yamaha colours now?

In a class of its own for sure....

I made all the fancy, well sorted race boats feel uncomfortable by wedging mine in here.

All the other boats here today were so well put together.

I joke a bit about this Delta, but I'm very happy to have it. It is great to drive and handles well. Cant wait to get it in to better shape..

Great day of racing today. Tomorrow T750 runs as the last two heats of the day (that's the schedule as of now).

I had a great time this weekend. Will post some pics soon.
The other T750 boats are faster and more experienced, but I set a new best for speed on my GPS.

Ok, I'll say it... Yikes!
But I've seen worse and any Delta is worth saving.
You CAN do it and you'll have a better Delta for your efforts.

Yes, it is definitely going to be a tonne of work.

...and today I made good progress, got a seemingly good plan in my head..

Just about to apply some filler epoxy, so started wiping some test spots with acetone.. The primer was being dissolved by the acetone and filled my ground out test spots. Argh.! :x

So is this an indication the primer is acrylic?

Now, again, not sure what to do next. Will be doing some research later today, and I'll maybe post some pics..

If it wipes off with alcohol or methyl hydrate then it's acrylic.
When in donut, sand, sand, sand.
