So why the mercs James? Why not build another HT Yammi big block and have 700 plus hp? Or is that motor you had gone?

Kevins matini with twin250xs' sold me on them. Unreal on fuel. However there's a huge price diffrance between two 15" Yamaha's and 2 20" 250xs' and even more of a price jump to go 300xs'.

I would love two yamaha 3.3 15" yamahas on this thing just not practical when it will be quite easy to convert these to 15" next year.

If this boat works. The goal will be making those 250's into 15" motors.

I doubt 15" motors will have the powerheads up out of the water.

We'll figure it out when the time comes. I'm sure if we put them on hyd jacks and put all the weight up front it won't be much diffrent then having 2.5 15's on it.
