thats sweet boat... ever thought about putting a nice yamaha excel on it? its basically a product improved omc..solid 225 hp.

Post subject:	1978 Hydrostream Vector
So, I bought Pats old Vector. The boat is structurally sound. It had a new vacuum baged core, stringers and floor in 2001. It has been quite well preserved and doesn't need too much work really. I'm going to flip it over and do some work on the hull and i'm planning to paint the whole boat. I won't be getting at it until the spring, but I thought I would let you guys know. My initial thought was to put a 2.4 200 Merc on it, but I thought a 235 omc crossflow might be cool too? I plan to run it in Formula Drag. I'm looking foward to having a fun lake boat again

Sounds good Greg. It may be a while before I get it ready, but I'm looking forward to it! Either way, I need to check out Allison Wonderland one of these days
