This is the drag hull with the centre pod. His plans are to redo the boat, and loose the lid to the cockpit and to drop the rear fairing down a ways. Thats moving for an sst 60! Im kinda surprised the v4 didnt go faster, but the power to weight of the sst 60 is hard to beat |

96 mph for SST60 is slow when you compare it to the sport E (SE) which is the 49 OMC class with no nose cone and stock position water pick ups. It is 93 mph. The drag pod gets the boat on plane quicker, but it hurts top end. Drags are about ET over a short distance so top end is less important. |
