last I heard, the deck and hull were touching, but not sure if the rub rail from the donor boat was installed yet.

The builder notified me that it weighed in at 214lbs.

Im sure there weight in there that can be pulled out!
First few are always a little heavy.
Im sure the builder will get the weight down.
214lbs is still a great weight. Im sure it will be very fast at that weight.
