These are the original Critchfield molds. There was a lot of interest a few years ago in the molds.

The problem with building these type boats is cost, demand and commitment!
COST: The cost to produce the first boat is thousands of dollars
DEMAND: There is not a large demand for these type boats.
COMMITMENT: When it comes to putting the money down to purchase most back out.

You need a plan, a budget based on a minimum of boats and committed people to buy those boats.

Andrew, Thom [your partner in the boat building] wanted to know the T Boat hull rules regarding Wing Style V hulls. Since Thom has no computer I thought it best to post here. You can print off the rules and show him.
Here are the rules:

There are NEW Winged hulls running overseas.

I am sure T Class would welcome a new winged hull should you decide to build one.

Hounddog, the OPBRA rules have been changed for 2019 as of last week. Email has been sent to members but website has yet to be updated. I'll see if I can attach the current rules from my computer.

JUST AN IDEA.
I don't think it would be that difficult to make a WINGED boat by modifying a Critchfield hull.
When you look at the back of the Critchfield and compare it to a wing style hull you can see that you only need to extend the V longer to make the wing. You can adjust the width of the boat by the transom height. The higher the deck the wider the hull. You do not need to remove the current side wall of the Critchfield. The side wall will become an inner wall in the new hull. To make the new outer hull you can use high density foam to make the shape and then make a mold from it and attach it to the Critchfield. You make your plug from it. You will need to modify the deck to fit, but the centre portion will fit as is. You will need to add extra deck for the wider boat.
DOABLE??

IDEA NUMBER 2
Take part of the centre portion of a Mini VooDoo hull
https://www.hydrostream.org/Specific%20 ... ooPair.jpg
AND
Put it into a 13 foot tunnel like this one
http://www.dillon-racing.com/images/mir ... t%2001.jpg
RESULT
You have a small Mod VP that floats high in the water.
Likely a strong drag boat with a mod 56 OMC
AND
Maybe a legal T boat with the new hull rules
