Some very interesting junk provided the compression information is correct. It’s a different 49 cubic inch because of the exhaust and the compression. The engine likely has the lighter rods and pistons.. Those parts plus the block can be the base for a very special engine build. It’s a unique looking engine. Those parts in combination with a later model 49 parts motor and some port work could result in a very good performance 49. At a low budget.
Use everything off the late model 49 except the block, rods and pistons. Those parts come from the old 60. I am not sure of the porting in the old 60 but you would want to port it like the 75 to 77 stinger. First problem and the only problem would be gaskets for the old 60 exhaust cover.
