You can hear Al and I talking about him lol... I stopped by his place on Sunday, checked out the projects he has on the go, shootin the breeze a bit, he just loves boating. Has a grin from ear to ear all the time. Great driver, great builder.

If you look at Rice Lake in Proximity to Peterborough, you get the perception of always going north on the river. When in fact the river is multi- directional. Meaning the conditions are changing as your direction changes. It can vary from mild to wild and just when you find your rigs sweet spot ... You have to back it down to set up for both left and right hand turns. We always said it would be cool to have a timed river race event on the Otonabee. ;) Oh and the faster your boat gets the shorter the river gets. What's up with that ;)

SS ----- always thought about an Entrance to 11 Bridge timed race. Wouldn't that be one fun event !!!!!

One of the very best rivers / body of water to run for sure. Grew up on that lake and river .
