OK it's early, but where is a good place to eat lunch on Lake Joseph? Usually we go to Cleveland's house on Lake Rosseau, and never make it to Lake Joseph. This year it's different:)

There is a nice little picnic spot at Gordon Bay Marine just by the opening to Portage Lake from Lake Joe. Although if you normally go to Clevland house you are not likely looking for a picnic spot :)

I think you can also park and walk up to the Bass Lake Restaurant...more pub style but good food. I haven't been there by boat but I'm 97.8% sure that they have a dock or two right at 169....

A picnic site might work. Leaving my Ally tied up to a dock and walking out of site? Nope, not happening.

That likely drastically limits your options then as Venice is not on Lake Joe ;)

The picnic spot is nice. I have stopped there a few times over the years.
