OK, now you don't have to worry about the 56'rs. Just brink the 49 and win some money. We can help you out with safety gear. We will even allow Mercury 52 cubic inch motors as part of the same Challenge.

Hydroid Jr not running, must work weekends.
Unless you confirmed with them, don't think Dave, Jake, Craig racing.

All three are not racing in 2015
Jake is working on his house
Dave is planning his retirement and not racing.
Craig is working more hours .

I thought JR had the weekend off.

I hope more T850 guys show up.

We may need to combine the classes because of the boat count!!

So far I see 5 racers in T750 and 4 in T850. I really don't understand why we would be worried about combining classes.

The race schedule is already setup to allow for both classes to race. As long as there is a class present (3 boats) then there is no need to combine the classes. Even if less than 3 T850 boats show (for example), why would we even consider running them in an actual T750 race or the other way around? All that is going to happen is that they are going to blow ahead of the T750 boats, chop the water making it harder to race for the 750 guys in the back and lower the level of competitive spirit of the 750 racers. How would any of us like to start a 100m sprint beside Ben Johnson?

We tried this before in Gravenhurst, running the T-cats with the T750 class. Did it make for some interesting racing? Sure it did. But it also made it extremely difficult for the boats in each class to race the other drivers in their own class.

Racers have paid their dues, worked on their boats, and travel to the races to participate with other racers in their own class. So....unless both classes have less than 3 boats show up, I don't see why it would be necessary to combine the classes.

Jesus F'n Christ Honker, it would be appreciated if you kept your non-racing 'experience' opinions to yourself.
We've worked hard to come up with the current process, this is no place for logic or rational thought.
T's much better at running a tight show than previous years, separate class running should work.
Sat & Sun will run well if Drag course set up Friday as well.
You lads staying @ Marriott? C ya soon:)

I just call it as I see it....from the launch as always...unfortunately for those around me I am logic driven regardless of my blood alcohol level.

The T guys do have the collective act together, no doubts about it. However...I also think at times we compromise as a class when we really don't need to.

We even continue to support those T boat guys who have ventured into the sandy pits....tsk tsk....

But....we come to race...drink/eat/be merry...and race. So....if we have 2 classes (3 boats in each class)...let us race.

Yes we are at the Marriot again this year....what are you stalking us!

See ya there.

I have been watching the weather network and it has been saying that there could be a lot of rain heading our way for the weekend. In the case that there is rain both days will there be racing or will it be canceled?
