Post subject:  Ride in an A Stock Hydro/sidewinder...assume!

I don’t recall ever seeing a video like this for an A stock hydro showing the RPM, the mph speed and the boats position on the race course.
Notice:
- the rpm to get the boat on plane
- the acceleration out of the corner
- the position of the boat on the course when the maximum speed is reached.
The video shows what we explain to new racers the difference between a lake boat setup and a race course boat setup.
On the race course
- the boat has to handle well
- it has to accelerate well out of the turn and reach top speed between 2/3 & 3/4 the way down the straightaway.
- performance in racing is the elapse total time it takes to run the race course. NOT the top speed you reach at the very end of the straightaway. Speed through the corners is equally important.

Here is a video of a new driver’s first ride in a hydro.
