So at that weight a 225hp motor can get this boat to 85mph+?

Mitchie's promax ran a best of 95 on his yellow boat...with a good prop. I don't think high 80's would be out of reach for most 225's. They are VERY nice boats.

sounds about right. I'm at 89 mph with a "225". I'd guess that a 225 PM would be 85 - 90 or more.

A 225 can push one over 90 if set up right.

I have the other V-21 in Nova Scotia. Great boats!

Yes! I may have created you as a legend in my own mind but you may be the mythical first V21 in Canada! Very cool. I do love those hulls. Welcome aboard :)

Thanks!

I believe Mike's was the first one. Blue boat with 225x. Beautiful boat!

Mine is mainly yellow with some red and 3 different blues. 2005 280 with a few changes from diamond( I limited bumped to 8600, 1 inch intake spacer, and exhaust)

I ran 103 on gps with the stock 280 and a 30 ET. I've only run a 26 yammy drag since the mods and have been on the rev limiter. No confirmed gps speed.

The 26 handles like a dream...
