Tunnelv, I'm glad you like it. Send me a picture when you get it mounted.

Hydroid, anytime. Give me a call when you're ready.

Do these shifters lock in place?

These do not lock in place but are a friction detent.
Same as the old K&S or Nydahl style of shifter.

The friction force is adjustable.
The shift cable travel will stop the lever. The friction will hold it in place.
I can make them with a detent (2 or 3 position) but it adds costs and imo does not work as well.

Thanks for considering them!!

There has been some concern that the shifter cable may slide in the mount of my shifters. Some cables do not have the "black plastic piece" and some do. This has been designed to accept the cable not the black plastic piece, as shown in the pictures. I have attached some pictures showing over 50 pounds of pull and push on the cable. The cable did not move in the mount.
When I hit it into reverse, I hurt my hand but the cable sheath did not move in the mount.
My intent for these is to keep them inexpensive but cool looking for our group of performance boaters.
I can make any changes or alterations you may want or need but it will add cost.
There are a few of them out there now, installed, and running with positive reports.
If you have any questions or concerns, please PM me and I will send you my # so we can discuss.

RBT - as you can see, I have some in stock for you!!

Thanks guys!!

You can see the set screw that hold the cable in place. I did this testing without tightening the bolt in the cable lug. Doing that would only make it stronger.

Hope this information helps!!

Thanks Mitchie!!

I have been contacted by a gentleman restoring an F1 race boat.
There could be more parts available from my shop soon!!
He has some great ideas for capsule boat equipment.
I asked him to join the site. Not sure if he's here yet.
Stay tuned.

Another shifter installed.
AN STV rigged by RBT (Rob).
I had to make a custom back plate for him and get it to him in a hurry so he could finish the boat.
To use his words "...I am going to post about it soon. Thanks. It's great."

Thanks Rob.
