What better way to celebrate than an Otonabee run?! September 24th Various launches available. Under the 115 bridge, the marina beside our house or Harris'. I could talk to Tom at Willow Bend Marina. Ample parking for lots of us and a short walk to the house. Let's say 10:00ish on the water. Run the day then whoever wants can come back to the house for a BBQ. Just need to figure out numbers of who's coming back to the house. |

Update: Just talked with Harris Boat Works. They don't have anything scheduled for the day. This leaves the launch and parking area open for us. A few of us will be launching at the top of the river but we will leave early and meet up with everyone at Harris'. Time remains at ~10:00. Run up the river. Maybe lock through to Little Lake. Run down the river with occasional stops for fly bys and photo ops. BBQ still on back at our house for those so inclined. |

Shane and I were talking earlier, how many people want to do the liftlocvks? Would be neat to see a bunch of hot boats going through the channel and up the lift. It's a long idle, at least 15 minutes, and there's a lock between there and Little Lake. Anyone want to make the trip? |
