There was interest in parts of the boat at 6 Mile.
I am sure Scott would split the package up provided the parts went to racers and in the end the complete package is sold.
The costly part is the SST 60 motor. It has the SST 60 trim in the boat and Scott does have a fresh SST 60 complete gearcase.
I you want just the motor or just the boat and trailer make a post. Rigging, safety equipment and a good prop all add up.
Plus there are no boat surprise rebuild costs with this outfit.
We need to keep this boat in our race series in Ontario and not have it go to Mexico or one of the islands.

Some of you heard that Scott had an accident with this boat on the May 24 long weekend. Yes this is true. He did a triple hook at 67 mph. Three complete rotations! The boat did not flip or break. Scott broke his collar bone and has rib damage. He is out of the hospital now and is hoping to be watching the races at Waterford.
What was he doing to cause the accident? Well he noticed at the T Party that Mike Hooper ran is motor higher on his boat than he was running his, so he wanted to try raising his motor. He put his GPS in the boat and did some testing raising the motor height and watching his water guage. Once he had it at the high limit he gave it a run. He picked up 500 rpm but there was too much torque on the wheel, so he headed back to the ramp to lower the motor. He was running with the motor trimmed it going back to the ramp when the GPS unit started to fall off the dash. He reached to catch it with one hand and at the same time he hit a wave and the wheel ripped out of his other hand causing the U turns. The GPS reading was 67 to 0!
End of lession.

He wasn't strapped in. Scott and I talked about what would have happened had he been strapped in. He wasn't thrown out of the boat, if the boat had flipped and he was strapped in, he would not have got out. If he was strapped in with no head holding device he may have broke his neck or maybe not been hurt at all. Good news is, he will be OK. And yes Rick it will be a fireside chat for sure. IF he talks about it.
