No, actually we will do like the Formula I boats did and run timed laps for each entry. Best time gets pole day one. Spectators love it.

That's what I meant by time trials but we wouldn't have time on Saturday so would have to be done Friday.

You would need insurance and paramedics to run on the Friday as well

The easiest way is a dock or shallow water start. Draw the positions out of a hat. Racers are allowed to have the motor running in neutral while the white and green flags are raised. Once the white flag drops motors are shut off. Motors put in gear. Green flag drops in 15 to 20 seconds after white is down. Second heat you reverse the starting order.

Lol I think what this will come down to is perfecting our pace boat starts! I'm pro dock starts but whatever lets race!! The first corner is crazy no matter what start we have. Lets put boats in the water and race! Unfortunately it's about saving time. I wish we had more!! I'll do whatever.

We did want to try NASCAR style starts which would take less time than a pace boat. Draw from a hat first heat....reverse order second heat....T750 boats that move up could be placed near the front to add to the interest.

Whatever is decided, let's decide very soon, so we can prepare our boats accordingly. Please Brent, you need to resolve this soon, so please put someone in a position to make the decision.
THX.

Hows this
Saturday
1st heat clock start, we can use my rolex cause it keeps real good time!
2st heat dock start, we will have to draw names out of pickle jar to see who starts were ( we will have to each bring are own piece of floating dock to make this work!!!)
Sunday
1st heat
The boats are floating by themselves, air horn sounds and we swim to are boats climb in and start racing
2st heat
Pick someone out the crowd to race are boat to see how will win!!!!
I'll talk to brent to make this happen?
