I really don't think that giving Ted a handicap for playing the rules and has a great set up is fair too him especially if someone shows up in Dunville with a better setup then he will be cought with his pants down without tight heads lets say...gives us all something to strive for and is fun to run close too Antonyss, bmax, Neil, Greg, Jay, Pat and of course Ted

If anyone shows up at Dunnville with tighter heads or a better set up I would hope that they would have the decency to express it to us. I truly hope we have some guys run more compression / tested set ups etc etc. That would make for an even better show and overall competition. In less than five minutes the weight added to Ted's boat can be removed and away he goes.

:? Be done with all this go faster stuff, tight heads,24 volt trim, skid planners should all be banned... Lol How is the regular Joe going too keep up

id like too see the formula class grow for the average joe. lake racers seem like most boats run very close ted might be a little faster but it gives everyone else someone too chase, when you pull up too the line beside him you now you better pull up your socks, and hope he makes a mistake thats costs him half a boat length  , i for one wouldn't be complaining about him testing whatever he wants in the ruels, as long as he isnt half tracking people.... but what do i know i don't race

Don't misunderstand what I said Boomer, he plays "by" the rules and no one is bitching or is there something that I don't know about :?

The way I see it is that this is a great problem to have, we are growing and everyone is getting faster, I plan to change my set up for dunnville but we will see ......

We started with 3 very open classes to encournage more people to come out and play Right now I can see where we could add a fourth class in between formula and lake racer but we would need to have the boat count to do it. If we continue to grow like this it shouldn't be a problem!

What about a T850 drag class? say 500 or 600 foot run instead of 800.....could be entertaining

I'll take any head start I can get :D .
The T boats top out at 65-70 so I would assume they will reach top speed in 500 - 600 feet. The extra 200 feet probably would not be required....but wouldn't matter if it was still a full track.

Please start a separate topic for this and you're more than welcome to bring it up with TORC.

Doug that's a great idea.

It would be fun to watch. And give the T guys some other things to be competitive in.then the winner has to race in the formula class.
